1. Scope
This policy applies to the yabt extension, website, and AI features. yabt is operated by the individual developer providing the service under this name. For privacy questions, contact support@linknows.fun.
2. Reading content
Local dictionary lookup does not upload page text. Only when you choose explanation, translation, or a voice question do we process the relevant words or sentences and nearby necessary content to generate an answer. We do not send whole pages by default, use this content for advertising, or sell it to third parties.
3. Account, trial, and payment
When you use AI features, we process your email address, account status, and usage to provide sign-in, trials, and subscriptions. Creem handles payment, tax, and refunds, including the payment and contact information needed to complete a transaction.
To keep trials fair, we retain the minimum information needed to tell whether the same email has already received one. This record contains no reading content and cannot be used to market to you.
4. Data on your device
Settings, lookup and vocabulary records, downloaded dictionaries, and temporary answer or speech caches are stored in your browser or device. Shadowing recordings are used only for the current practice session, then deleted and never uploaded. Voice-question audio is sent to produce a transcription and answer.
5. Website and feedback
The website has no advertising or third-party marketing analytics and sets no marketing cookies. Uninstall feedback stores only your selected reasons, optional text, language, and submission time; please do not enter sensitive information in free text.
6. Deletion and retention
You can delete your account in settings. Account-related information, access, and usage are removed after deletion; the minimum trial-eligibility record may remain to prevent repeated trial claims. If a subscription existed, we temporarily retain its provider identifiers, status, paid-period end, and a salted email fingerprint so an externally resumed subscription can be made non-renewing. This record contains no raw email or reading content and is removed after the subscription ends plus a 90-day safety period. Payment records are retained by the payment provider as required by its policies and law.
We keep data only for as long as needed to provide the service, handle payment or refunds, protect service security, improve the product, or comply with law.
7. Your choices and contact
Contact support@linknows.fun to request access, correction, or deletion of applicable personal data. Data may be processed by service providers in different regions. After verifying a request, we handle it under applicable law.
